Jay is a vehicle design and development engineer with 35 years of experience in high performance street and race cars including: 1998 Lincoln LS ride and handling development on US and European roads (including the Nurburgring Nordschleife), the 1999 Mustang FR500 SEMA car, the 2000 Focus FR200 SEMA car, the 2003 Focus RS8 SEMA car, the 2005 S197 Mustang, the 2005 Ford GT, the 2006 Mustang FR500C race car, the 2007 Shelby GT500 SVT Mustang, the 2007 Porsche 997 RSR GT2 race car, the 2008 Aston Martin DBRS9 race car, the 2009 BMW E92 M3 GT2 race car, the 2013 BMW E89 Z4 GTLM race car, the 2016 BMW F13 M6 GTLM race car, the 2018 Ford GTLM race car, the 2018 Mustang GT4 race car, and the 2022 BMW G82 M4 GT3 race car. He is also a race engineer and strategist with 30 years of combined experience in IMSA and IndyCar, including 7 Indy 500 starts, 3 Sebring 12 hour GT class wins, 7 Road America GT class wins, and multiple IMSA GT championships.  From Formula SAE in college, to F1 at Jaguar Racing while at Ford, to IndyCar and IMSA GT cars, Jay has excelled in suspension design and vehicle development.
